Yahoo vs. Gmail

July 27th, 2007

“Yahoo! announced that they are going to upgrade their current free storage mail users
to 100Mb of storage from a previous 4Mb (or 6Mb -depending on other variables). This
is most likely in response to Gmail’s 1G of storage space. Yahoo! is also upgrading
its premium members’ e-mail accounts to “virtually unlimited” capacity.” [LockerGnome]

So to compete, Yahoo decided to give users 1/10th of what gMail (free Google email

Thank you, Comcast.

July 27th, 2007

“Comcast upgraded their modem’s firmware on their entire network and now some wireless
routers cannot connect to the Internet,” wrote one reader. [Read
More]

line. This makes the customer’s computer a sitting duck for hackers and viruses and
disconnects any other networked computer from the Internet.

If your Internet ever goes out, try these
steps and call us before your provider!
